Mac is a wonderful operating system that doesn’t delete the data actually when it’s removed from the recycle bin. The directory structure of the data gets removed because of which empty space appears whenever data is deleted. Later on new files are overwritten at the place from where the old files are removed. Mac doesn’t overwrite new files immediately to the place which is emptied but if the system is on low disk space then it does that.
