It is a fact that the watches industry has lost massive market share because of the advent of handsets as they have time pieces in them also. However great brands are still doing good business as they still capture millions of hearts and no matter how much expensive watch they make, it sells in no time.
Keeping a watch is not always luxury
Whenever we enter any building or home, we look towards the walls to look at the clock. The reason probably is that it’s more convenient to look at a clock-watch rather then taking a handset out of pocket and watching time over it. Similarly while driving any kind of automobile we feel comfortable looking at the dashboard watch for watching time as they are most convenient to be looked for while driving. Whenever we visit any public place and if there is a big watch placed over there, we definitely look towards that to watch time because that time it’s most convenient to look over it. The point is that we go for convenience every time and time pieces still are need of our lives.

Frequent use of watches in recent decades have made them part of luxury items also. There are many jewelry items that have watches in them. For example one can find a bracelet watch, gold wrist watch, ring watch, golden or silver pocket watch and similar kind of watches. Also those who love stones can find stone made watches which are more art work then time pieces. Apart from these kinds of watches there are great brands like RADO, Quartz, Rolex, Timex and plenty of others who manufacture expensive and lavish looking watches for their customers who purchase them on frequent bases.
The charm of keeping a watch
There are many people who do not need any time piece to keep but they keep a watch just because they feel excited to have one. Some of them are analog watch lovers who love the sound of moving needles of the watch. Some of them love to wear a wrist watch so they go for sleek and stylish looking wrist watch to be worn on wrist. Some people love wearing a bracelet & watch both so they purchase a bracelet watch and keep wearing it mostly. Some people love to have an expensive looking pocket watch which they keep watching over and over just to enjoy taking the watch out of pocket again and again.
Analog and Digital watches both are in fashion
Some people still love to have an analog watch while some people love digital ones. The convenience with an analog watch is that it is easier to be looked upon for people with weak eyesight and some people love the charm of an analog watch other wise. A digital watch is more accurate in giving time for which it is mostly liked by teenagers. Watches are still a great fascination for many people because of which they still keep them.
