How to make a toga?

There are many dresses that are specially worn on occasions. Toga is one of them. Toga has its origin from ancient times and it was quite famous in Roman Empire. There are rumors about different kind of women wearing togas in the roman times. However, none of that matters much as it is a very much liked dress today. Togas for women are important dress during the Halloweens, parties and other occasions. If a toga is nicely made and a beautiful girl wears it then it’s fascinating for many eyes.
Making the right toga is not easy but if a lady knows the art of making it then she can make if beautifully at home. Togas for women can be made with perfection if they are made again and again by a person. Usually a toga is made from 5-6 yards of fabric depending upon the size of lady wearing it. The fabric is wrapped twice around the body of the woman making it like a towel. Two inches fabric is folded from the top under the arms. After that the rest of the fabric is made in the shape of rope and wrapped around the waste twice.
When the woman making it finish wrapping fabric around the body and waste then she should gather the rope shaped fabric in the front and wrap it around the neck one time. After that it must be joined with the part of the fabric rope around the chest and pulled upside. When it tightens up then it is taken at the backside and tied there. The typical toga for women is made this way at home. In order to hold the toga up so that it does not fall down, a belt is worn under the folded part of the fabric at the top which holds the toga from falling down.
If the top folding of the fabric is not made at the initial stages then things are difficult. The belt does not hold much and it become impossible to hide the belt if the fabric is folded at the later stages. Also if the belt is not worn then things are difficult. The toga for women can not be an ideal one if it slips down even a little. The whole looks of the toga will ruin the occasion of the woman wearing it. It is ideal to make a toga an hour before the occasion so that it can be put to experimentation for one hour and later problems are not faced.
