Istanbul is gateway to Europe

The only city which is half in Europe and half in Asia is Istanbul. It’s a beautiful city with having both the eastern and western cultures. The city remained capital of two of the biggest empires that rules the world for most time then any Empire did.
The old name of Istanbul is Constantinople. It was named after the Roman Emperor Constantine who was the first Christian ruler of Roman Empire. The city was conquered by Muslims in 15th Century and it remains capital of Ottoman Empire for many centuries.
Istanbul is rich of ancient history as well as it has blends of modern lifestyle. Right now it’s a gateway to Europe because many Asian tourists visit the city for the sake of having a visit to the Europe and similarly many European tourists visit the city for visiting Asia. There are people of different religions happily living together in this city.
Istanbul is one of the most modern cities these days with having great night life. The city is having four major parts which includes the Old Town, Beyoglu, Bosphorus and Prince’s Islands. The Asian side of the city is mostly populated with residential areas while the European side is full of tourist attractions and worth spending times.
It is better to arrange cheapest hotels for staying because one has lots of places to visit at Istanbul. Some of the great destinations of Istanbul include Dolmabahce Palace, Suleymanye Camee, and Topkapi Palace, City museums, Grand Bazaar, Chora Church and plenty of other places.
