Puerta Del Sol is located in the center of Spanish capital. In history it was present in the eastern corner of the city. There was an eastern gate to the city in this area in the fifteenth century. The statue of the king is looking towards a building made from red bricks named as Casa de Correos. There is a clock tower also present in this building which added in it in 1866 and originally this building was created in 1768. This building holds historical importance as well as it remained police head quarter in the times of Franco.

An amusing thing in Puerta Del Sol is a statue of bear that is eating fruits. People with all kinds of interests visit Puerta Del Sol.
