Mobile Security in Cloud

Along with the good things about the internet the problem is its vulnerability. There are viruses, trojans and malwares designed everyday to ruin the various devices that access the internet. Against all that security is required up to the maximum. The concept of mobile security in the cloud has emerged for the same reasons and lots of work has been done in this context.

A fact is that the cloud is accessed by the mobile devices by the help of networks that are wireless. An aspect is that all the wireless networks are not safe and secure. There are some wireless networks that have almost no security for various reasons. That means if there are few networks accessed for accessing a cloud then there are chances of security lapse in one of the networks that can make things worse for the mobile user. A way to protect the mobile devices from all kinds of possible harms the best thing is to ensure security at every level. Usually there are specialized companies hired for network security management to ensure that. These companies used up to date techniques and they are highly professional in making things work for the ultimate users. That way the mobile devices remain safe from all kinds of virus attacks no matter how long they remain on the internet.

In most of the networks it is trend that the mobile devices are subjected to be authorized before they access the cloud. That helps in keeping the network safe from malicious data coming into the network. However an aspect is that the security in the network requires lots of improvement. Modern models should be applied in a way that the environment becomes 100% safe for the consumers. One of the best architectures in this respect is 3GPP GBA (Generic Boothstrap Authentication). It is a wonderful architecture as it allows authentication variation for variety of services. That gives a concept of separate security for separate services. In fact it is a concept of specilized authentication in order to protect the network at the application level from the very start. It is an ideal model that doesn’t exist in full rhythm at the moment.

Now the future concept of mobile secuty would hopefull be based on next generation networks (NGN). These networks would be highly reliable having support for all kinds of modern mobile devices. They would surely be faster in speed and they would definitely have support for IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). There are principles yet to be established to protect the network up to the fullest. Furthermore there are steps required that should be taken in order to improve the multimedia access at the individual device levels. Hopefully that will resolve all the loopholes that exist in the system today in one shape or the other. Eventually that will give bring a new revolution in the telecom industry in the times to come.
