Cosmetic dentistry deals with the physical appearance and performance of human teeth. However cosmetic dentistry is not world wide accepted as a branch of dentistry. There is no educational institute around the world offering specialization courses in cosmetic dentisty neither there is any cosmetic dentist certified anywhere. The word cosmetic is used for things that are superficial and temporary. The cosmetics are usually the ladies stuff for makeups which include facials, lipstics, hair colors, chapstick, creams, lotions, hair removals, etc. So in broader terms we can say that the cosmetic dentistry helps a person in having artificial teeth in order to have good looks. The cosmetic dentistry is a makeup of mouth which people desire to have in order to hide the awful looks because of having damaged or not teeth at all.
The cosmetic teeth placed in one’s mouth never damage the structure on which the teeth are placed. The person having cosmetic teeth can remove them as and when desired by him. The person can have different cosmetic teeth for having different looks and he/she can replace them quite frequently. This helps those who face inferiority complex because of having problems with teeth looks. The cosmetic dentistry helps a person to have polished looks with having artificial teeth in the mouth. However eating with the cosmetic teeth is not easy and a little hasstle for the person having cosmetic dentistry. But still the greatest thing about the cosmetic teeth is that it gives a perfect smile to the person having these in mouth and with the smile appearance improves a lot.
